1. The role of Topikos

Topikos connects buyers and sellers from diaspora communities in Canada. Topikos is neither a seller, nor a carrier, nor a payment intermediary. No transaction is processed on the site.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials confidential.

3. Seller obligations

Sellers warrant that they have the right to sell the products they list, that descriptions are accurate, and that they comply with applicable Canadian law — in particular regarding food, cosmetics and labelling.

4. Prohibited content

Illegal, counterfeit, unsafe or expired products, as well as any hateful or misleading content or content infringing the rights of others.

5. Transactions

Every transaction is concluded directly between buyer and seller, under their sole responsibility. Topikos gives no warranty and does not arbitrate disputes, though it may suspend a reported account.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Topikos cannot be held liable for damages arising from a transaction between users.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Canada and in the province where the operator resides.
